Below, are minutes for transition meetings that took place on 24th August, 14th September, 21st September and 19th October.
There was a lot of work to do as our parish's final report had to be submitted by 30th September, which is why the minutes have been delayed in being published.
The content of these 4 meetings covered each and every field that had to be assessed, discussed and reported on: prayer, naming, pastoral ministries, evangelisation, facilities, finances, communications, administration and human resources.
Other topics discussed, specific to our particular parish, included community life teams and First Nation communities.

UPCOMING TRANSITION EVENTS:
Currently, members of the transition team are putting together a user friendly summary of the completed transition report. It is hoped that this document will be of use first of all to community life team (CLT) members who will have a chance to become familiar with its contents before participating in one of two specially designed, facilitated workshops involving CLT members across the whole parish.
The purpose of these workshops, one in the West and one in the East (in order to help make attendance easier), will be to:
After this workshop, it is hoped that participants will be able to connect with their own community's parishioners and help inform them of the transition report recommendations and of what might lie ahead for us in future.
